Early detection of cavities and periodontal disease is the key to avoiding costly and painful dental treatment. Prevention begins with the control of plaque and calculus, the main cause of decay and periodontal disease. Unfortunately, 90 percent of the population is susceptible to periodontal disease, the major cause of tooth loss. What makes this problem so insidious is that most patients feel no symptoms until it's too late. Our office protocol insures cavities and gum disease are detected and treated in their earliest stages.
