At your appointment, Dr. Eshom spends unrushed time with you, examining your mouth and teeth, as well as talking to you about your wishes, needs, and concerns. Exploration and planning are important for long-term success. He will look at the big picture, how all your teeth play a role in the overall look and feel of your smile. You can expect him to take digital photographs of you for your benefit, so that you can see on a TV screen what the individual components of your smile look like when they're magnified. When you can see your own oral condition, you can then become a co-diagnoser. This means you play an equal role in deciding what you want performed.
